Day 1 - Johannesburg, South Africa
Arrive in Johannesburg and transfer to your exclusive hotel.
Settle in and relax before your exciting Southern Africa
adventure.
Day 2 - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Fly by privately chartered air to Victoria Falls. Continue to
your luxurious lodge, where you stay in a tented suite with
unobstructed views of the Zambezi River. At twilight, cruise
the river on a memorable Scenic Sundowner. Gather this
evening for a welcome dinner.
Day 3 - Victoria Falls
Rise early to experience an interactive animal adventure, when you privately visit an elephant sanctuary to meet the gentle giants living there. View the elephants up close in the bush, watching them eat and socialize, during an unforgettable hands-on encounter led by a naturalist. Proceed to breathtaking Victoria Falls, one of the world’s greatest natural wonders, and explore the surrounding rain forest on a guided walk. See rainbows and clouds of spray as the mile-wide Upper Zambezi plummets into the Lower Zambezi. After lunch at a local restaurant, explore the town of Victoria Falls before returning to the lodge for time at leisure. In the late afternoon, set out on a game drive through the pristine wilderness of the Zambezi National Park. Return to your lodge for dinner beneath African skies.
Day 4 - Victoria Falls
After breakfast, enjoy one of these Design Your Day activities.
Visit a Rural Village for an interactive experience that offers insights into Zimbabwean cultural traditions.
Privately Bike the Area, cycling around the town of Victoria Falls, stopping at scenic viewpoints along the way.
Visit the Wildlife Trust Headquarters for a behind-the-scenes tour and opportunity to meet resident wildlife.
Return to your luxurious lodge for the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 5 - Okavango Delta, Botswana
Fly by private charter to Maun, Botswana, transferring
on arrival by light aircraft to the Okavango Delta, and
continuing overland to Sanctuary Chief’s Camp. The camp
is situated in the Moremi Game Reserve, nicknamed the
“predator capital of Africa” and one of the best places in
Botswana to see the Big Five. Settle into your luxurious
camp, and then set out on an afternoon game drive.
Day 6 - Okavango Delta
Rise early for a game drive through countryside where
elephants, buffalo and impala, as well as lions and other
predators, roam free. This afternoon, enjoy a Chef’s Table
experience that provides you a taste of traditional local
cuisines. Later, set out once again to marvel at the incredible
wildlife.
Day 7 - Okavango Delta
Revel in another day of game drives in the bush. Optionally,
if seasonal water levels allow, glide by mokoro through the
tranquil delta waters, watching for frogs, hippos and other
wildlife.
Day 8 - Sossusvlei, Namibia
Return by light aircraft to Maun and board your private
charter flight to Windhoek, Namibia. On arrival, transfer by
light aircraft to Sossusvlei and continue to your luxurious
desert lodge. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure. After dark, gather
at the lodge’s state-of-the-art observatory and marvel at the
sky’s wonders.
Day 9 - Sossusvlei
Today, discover renowned Sossusvlei, a place of otherworldly
beauty. The salt-and-clay pan is surrounded by towering
dunes that, together with the sky, make up the palette of
burnt oranges and vivid blues that are so distinctive to the
region. After an opportunity to climb “Big Daddy” — the
tallest of the dunes — return to your lodge for an afternoon
at leisure.
Day 10 - Sossusvlei
Rise before dawn for a hot air balloon adventure, sailing on
the wind over the endlessly fascinating terrain of the world’s
oldest desert, viewing it from an new perspective. Upon
landing, enjoy breakfast in the desert. This afternoon, you
may opt to venture out for a guided trail ride over the stark
desert panorama on an e-bike, taking in the awe-inspiring
terrain.
Day 11 - Cape Town, South Africa
Fly by light aircraft to Windhoek, and then on to Cape Town
via privately chartered air. Upon arrival, check in to your
hotel and settle in.
Day 12 - Cape Town
Visit Robben Island, where the anti-apartheid leader — and
eventual South African president — Nelson Mandela was
once imprisoned. Privately explore this UNESCO World
Heritage Site and view a cell where Mandela was held. After
lunch, ascend to Table Mountain’s soaring plateau by cable car
for gorgeous views.
Day 13 - Cape Town
Discover scenic, rugged Cape Point, the mountainous
promontory at the southern tip of Africa. Venture past
the “bikini beaches” at the base of the Twelve Apostles
Mountains, Hout Bay with its bustling fishing harbor, and
over Chapman’s Peak Drive. Explore the Cape Peninsula
and Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, home to rare
species. Ascend by funicular to the pinnacle at Cape Point
for some stunning views. At Boulders Beach, visit its colony
of endangered African penguins. Tonight, gather for your
farewell dinner.
Day 14 - Cape Town
After breakfast, privately transfer to the airport for your
departing flight.
