About the Port
Basseterre, capital of St. Kitts and Nevis, sits along the southwestern coast beneath a backdrop of green, volcanic hills. As one of the oldest towns in the Eastern Caribbean, it reflects centuries of French and English colonial influence in its Georgian buildings and circular street plan centered on the Circus.
