Echo is White Desert's space-age camp, inspired by the continent's role as Earth's best analogue for other worlds — the same otherworldly terrain where space agencies test equipment and astronauts train. Its 'sky pods' are sleek, metallic-skinned capsules with floor-to-ceiling windows composed like spacecraft portholes, framing a valley of black nunatak peaks and sculpted ice that could pass for another planet.
The interiors carry the theme with cinematic flair — space photography, carbon-fiber furniture, memorabilia flown aboard actual missions — while the experience outside is pure Antarctic adventure: hiking wind-scoured ridgelines, climbing among the granite towers, and touring the ice in the camp's fleet of polar vehicles. Nights (such as they are under the midnight sun) end in the lounge pod with a drink and a horizon that belongs on the cover of a science-fiction novel.
