About The Port Of Ensenada
Ensenada sits along a wide bay on the Pacific coast of Baja California, its waterfront Malecón lined with shops, seafood stands, and views of the working harbor. The town's compact center is an easy walk from the pier, making it simple to sample fish tacos at a local market or browse curio shops before returning to the ship. Historic buildings such as the Riviera del Pacifico, once a grand social hall, hint at the port's early twentieth-century heyday.
Beyond downtown, the surrounding region rewards a short excursion. La Bufadora, a dramatic natural blowhole along the coast, sends seawater bursting through a rocky cove, while the Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico's leading wine region, unfolds inland with vineyards and tasting rooms set against arid hills. Together, the coastline and countryside give Ensenada an easy blend of maritime charm and rural character.
